Europe book

A selection of images from my recent trip to Europe which will appear in the book I am working on in collaboration with Stefan Wolf.

Street art, Arles

Arles is the beautiful city in southern France where Vincent van Gogh arrived in 1888 from Paris and knocked out 186 paintings in the following 16 months. There is a festival of photography currently running here until September with 60 exhibitions and 50 workshops. Art abounds and you need look no further than the walls in the old town.

Olargues, France

Today I returned to Olargues, a small village in southern France where I spent 6 weeks picking cherries in 1987. Not a lot had changed.

The mighty Fiat Panda

I’m on assignment in Europe. Walking around Cuneo, Italy a couple of days ago it seemed like every second car I saw was a Fiat Panda. All images were shot within a couple of hours except the white 4×4 Panda which I took today in Menton, France.
